Basics

The Lu4 concept emphasizes calm, thoughtful progression and active engagement with low and mid-level content. To make this more interesting and convenient, the quest system has been completely overhauled.

All quests now use a system of randomly distributing quest items within the group — now supports can complete tasks on par with damage dealers. The logic of many quests has also changed: you no longer need to turn in a quest every 10 hides. You can calmly farm, collect quest items, and turn them all together, receiving rewards based on the amount collected.

Rewards have also been reworked. Repeatable quests are now a stable source of additional income. Don’t forget to pick up all available tasks before heading to a location. One-time quests provide a noticeable amount of experience — don’t ignore them.

Important: The fatigue system does not affect quest rewards. Even if you exceed the available experience limit while hunting monsters, you will still receive the full reward for completing a quest — both adena and experience.

Also note that the fishing and pet systems are disabled on Lu4. All quests related to them have been removed.
